NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Modesto City Schools hereby gives notice that a public hearing will be held to receive input regarding charter school renewal petitions, as outlined below.
TOPIC OF HEARING
The Board of Education will hold a public hearing to consider Charter Renewal Petitions for the following schools:
Aspire University Charter School
Connecting Waters Charter School, Central Valley
The proposed renewals are for a five-year term commencing July 1, 2026. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide input on the renewal petitions.

PROCESS FOR MAKING PUBLIC COMMENTS
We value community input and have provided several ways for the public to share comments on the charter renewal petitions.
In Person: Members of the public may provide comments in person at the boardroom located at 425 Locust Street.
The Period for Public Presentation is limited to 30 minutes, with time allotted equally based on the number of request cards submitted.
The maximum time for any one speaker is three minutes.
By Email or Voicemail: Comments may also be submitted after the Board meeting agenda is posted and before 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the Board meeting:

Please limit written comments to approximately 250 words.
Comments submitted by email or voicemail will not be read aloud during the meeting but will be transcribed, printed, and provided to Board members before the meeting. Copies will also be made available to the public at the meeting and included in the official minutes.
